Last October my amazing husband surprised me with a Cricut! It’s this wonderful little machine that cuts out thousands of shapes and layers creating beautiful and intricate designs. At first when I got it, I felt like a really old lady huddling over her craft table diligently working or her corny little cards. (I have not aged gracefully…in the sense that I keep discovering new hobbies or new music that I never imagined myself liking, and I almost feel embarrassed.) But the more and more I create things, the more proud I become. I love making homemade cards and calendars and seeing people’s faces when they realize that I spent my own time making something for them. It’s very heartwarming…and rewarding. 🙂 So here is a snippet of a few cards from my birthday set. I loved making them almost as much I loved giving them!
