There are a few girls at work who love crafty things just as much as I do. So back in January, we had our first Pinterest party! It was a wonderful success so we decided to do it again in March. There are four of us girls and each one of us brings two projects to complete along with all of the materials needed for everyone. At the second Pinterest party, my super creative friend Jaci (I miss you!) had brought some wood blocks. She’d asked us all for photos a few days earlier without telling us what project the photos were for. We couldn’t find anything on her Pinterest page and we were baffled. We were of course, absolutely giddy when she explained what the project was and how everything worked. These blocks are just fantastic! I love anything creative, homemade, and vintage looking and these photo blocks are all three!
I still can’t find the exact site where Jaci found the original idea, but I did find the following steps on Photojojo.com. These steps sound exactly like what Jaci described to us. And if you don’t already know, Photojojo is an incredible resource for DIY projects and all things photography related. They explain themselves like this: “We publish an insanely great newsletter on photography. More specifically, we scour the internets, rip pages out of magazines, ransack our friends’ closets, and go through dumpsters to find the very best Photo tips, DIY projects, and gear.” Go ahead and visit their site and sign up!
