Peanut Sauce

Yield 1 1/2 cups



  1. Saute the onion in the olive oil in a small saucepan until it's tender, about 5 minutes.  Add the garlic and cook for one minute longer.
  2. Add the water, peanut butter, sugar, and chili powder.  Bring it all to a boil.
  3. Cook and stir the sauce for two to three minutes or until it slightly thickens.
  4. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the lemon juice, soy sauce, and salt.
