So picture this: Your fiance’ (who is allergic to shellfish) finally caves and lets you splurge and drop 7 bucks on a pound of shrimp which you get to enjoy all by your self! With excitement bubbling inside of you, you remove the shrimp for dinner one night and set it up in a real pretty cocktail style. You carry it over to your dinner table trying to hide your enthusiasm so as not to make your poor fiance’ feel bad about his inability to eat some of the most amazing foods that the ocean has to offer. A few minutes later, right as you are about to plow into your shrimp…you realize that you have no sauce for your cocktail!!!
Well…lucky for me, I had my amazing fiance’ to the rescue! He told me to go in the kitchen and then began calling out instructions. They were for the best dang cocktail sauce I’d ever had! And I loved that it only took 2 minutes to make it! I may seem a little over excited, but I LOVE sauces! Especially last minute, delicious ones!
So head to your local fish market and splurge on some good wild-caught shrimp for a cocktail.
